What happened
StateImpact and ProPublica reported on 3 July 2013 that in March 2012 the EPA withdrew, without announcing it, an emergency order against Range Resources over contaminated water wells in Texas.
Conservation International's announcement described Jackson as a former EPA administrator whose most recent post was Apple's vice-president for environment, policy and social initiatives.
Conservation International named Jackson its interim board chair in February 2026, a seat she has held since 2019, according to its press release.
The Conservation International board page lists Iván Duque, a former president of Colombia, and honorary member Ian Khama, a former president of Botswana.
