Addis Ababa's Reppie waste-to-energy plant reported at half capacity
Short record: the main facts, with sources. A full case file has not been prepared.
- The record does not name which of my species, waters, soils or forests were harmed.
Ethiopia's Reppie incineration plant in Addis Ababa is reported to run at half its capacity, and GAIA said it processes 396 to 650 tonnes a day against a 1,400-tonne design. At stake for nature is whether burning waste at Reppie reduces what goes to the Koshe dump.
