What happened

The record, in order.

The Supreme Court annulled the 2012 environmental permit for PT Semen Indonesia's limestone mine and cement plant in Rembang on 5 October 2016, Mongabay Indonesia reported.

On 9 November 2016 Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo signed a new environmental permit decision, No. 660.1/30.

The provincial environment office argued that the court ruling had been issued in the name of a different company, PT Semen Gresik; the governor said the decision was an addendum, not a new permit.
